Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common questions about our apps and services.
Privacy & Data
Where is my app data stored?
For most of our applications, your data is stored entirely on your local device. We design our apps with a privacy-first philosophy, meaning we don't upload your personal information or database to external cloud servers unless the app specifically requires syncing functionality (which will always be explicitly stated).
Do you collect any analytics or user behavior tracking?
We do not use any third-party marketing trackers or sell your behavior data. The app stores (Apple App Store and Google Play Store) provide us with basic, aggregated, anonymous crash logs and installation metrics so we can fix bugs and optimize compatibility. You can opt out of sharing this diagnostic data within your device's operating system settings.
Backups & Syncing
How do I backup or transfer my data?
Since data is stored locally, it is automatically backed up if you have device-level backups enabled (such as iCloud Backup on iOS or Google Backup on Android). For apps with manual import/export features, you can back up your data directly from the Settings panel within the app by exporting it as a file (e.g., JSON or CSV).
Can I sync my data between iOS and Android?
Currently, for local-first apps, cross-platform real-time sync is not supported out of the box because the apps do not use centralized servers. However, you can export your backup file from one device and manually import it on the other if the app supports import/export functions.
Purchases & Support
How do I request a refund for an purchase?
All purchases and subscriptions are handled securely directly by Apple or Google. Because of this, we do not have access to your billing details or payment methods and cannot issue refunds ourselves. You can request a refund through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account purchase history.
How can I report a bug or request a feature?
We love feedback! Please send us an email at help@apps.shahadat.us with the name of the app, your device model, OS version, and details of the bug or feature request. We read every email and prioritize updates based on community feedback.
